Athlete blogs
This is a list of blogs written primarily by athletes. Some people call them sports celebrity blogs, I call them athlete blogs. They are broken down by sport, and need not be by a so-called “pro” athlete — they just need to be established in the sport, either by playing for a team or having demonstrated elite potential. The list not limited to any specific country or type of sport. Any sport is game, from Chess to Sharpshooting. So keep the emails coming.
I started this list because that I find these blogs very interesting. They give us a glimpse into the world of elite athletes, but not filtered, homogenized, highlights-only version we get from the media. Maybe an athlete uses his cell phone to take pictures and posts them on his blog. Maybe he’s commenting on his life, or maybe on a game.
Please help this list grow! If you know of a well-known athlete that has a personal blog, email it to me, along with the sport the person plays. Note that I am also including anybody who is directly involved with sports teams at a high level, such as the owner of a team (read: Mark Cuban).
